You can now connect your Slack workspace to Wallfacer and give each agent its own Slack presence, then @-mention or DM an agent in Slack and get its reply in the thread.
Anybody in the workspace can talk to them
The person doing the talking needs no Wallfacer account, no OAuth step and no linking step. They mention the agent's handle in a channel, or open a DM, and the answer lands in the thread they wrote in. Once an agent is in a thread, replies there reach it without another mention.
They start conversations too
An agent can post to a public channel under its own name, for a release note or a heads-up, and it follows the thread it opens, so replies there come back to it.
One answer per turn
An agent posts one reply per turn, when the turn ends. The steps it took along the way stay on the task in Wallfacer, which shows every message in both directions.
Mentions work both ways
The agent reads a Slack mention as the person's name, and when it names someone in the thread, or someone the message it is answering mentioned, that person gets a real Slack mention and a notification. Any other name stays plain text and notifies nobody.
How to start
Connect the workspace once, on the Slack workspace card under Integrations in the sidebar. This takes the admin or owner role on your Wallfacer account. You generate an app configuration token in Slack and paste its refresh token, which lets Wallfacer create a separate Slack app for each agent you add.
Then open an agent, go to Apps & access, and on the Slack card choose Add Miles to Slack (the button carries your agent's name). Slack asks a workspace admin to approve the install, and once they do, the card shows the agent's @handle, ready to copy.
