Model Usage and AI Employee Costs

Use account usage to see where model consumption came from. Account owners and admins can read it at GET /v1/accounts/{account_id}/analytics/usage. The generated CLI exposes the same report through wallfacer accounts analytics-usage.
wallfacer accounts analytics-usage "$ACCOUNT_ID" --period days --days 30These examples pass an account ID explicitly. If you configured an account in the CLI, omit the ID. Account usage defaults to the current calendar month to date. Set --period days for the last 30 UTC calendar days, including today, or pass --days from 1 to 180 to change the length. Values above 180 are clamped to 180.
Read the account total
platform is model cost Wallfacer paid at the provider's USD rate before account credits. It measures consumption, not an invoice. Its by_category groups are employee work (including sub-agents), human-started work, account overhead, and unattributed usage. by_employee divides employee work by AI employee. The daily, by_model, and tasks breakdowns each add up to platform; tasks split into top, other, and without_task.
external covers usage billed through the account's own provider key or a vendor subscription. It reports records and tokens without a dollar amount and is excluded from platform.
Check coverage.complete before treating a total as final. It is false when the requested period predates usage history, overlaps lost history, or extends beyond the last update. A group's cost_usd is null when it has usage but none could be priced. unpriced_records and unpriced_tokens show what is missing from a partly priced total.
Inspect an AI employee
The performance list returns one row per AI employee, including offboarded employees. It includes tasks, sessions, tool turns, and model cost. The detail adds daily tasks and cost plus model_usage by day, model, and task.
wallfacer agents analytic-list "$ACCOUNT_ID" --period month
wallfacer agents analytic-get "$ACCOUNT_ID" "$AGENT_USER_ID" --period days --days 7Both employee commands default to the last 30 UTC calendar days, including today. They also accept --period month for the current month to date and --days from 1 to 180 with a days period.
model_cost includes platform-paid calls made by an employee's sub-agents. spend_usd adds recorded voice call cost to priced model cost and rounds to cents. Unpriced model usage contributes nothing to spend_usd; check model_cost before treating it as complete. The employee detail's model_usage also shows externally billed usage and data coverage.
The same reports are available at GET /v1/accounts/{account_id}/analytics/agents and GET /v1/accounts/{account_id}/analytics/agents/{agent_user_id}. See the API Reference for parameters and response fields.
